Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on the signature of a key member of the defensive ranks at Serie A giants Juventus, according to reports.
The Bianconeri star in the sights of the brass at St. James’ Park? Gleison Bremer.
Brazilian international Bremer is fresh off a largely successful debut campaign on Juve’s books, after swapping city rivals Torino for the Allianz Stadium last summer.
The 26-year-old, all told, racked up 43 appearances, featuring from the off in 30 of the club’s 38 league outings.
And, despite Massimiliano Allegri’s troops, as a collective, often struggling, Bremer largely held his own, looking like a potential stalwart at the heart of the Old Lady’s backline for years to come.

In turn, it will no doubt come as a source of concern for the Juve faithful to hear of outside interest mounting in their star stopper.
New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is understood to have placed the signing of a new central defender high on his list of priorities heading into next season.
And, after allegedly being knocked back in efforts to land Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte, the north Londoners have now turned their attentions towards Bremer.
Though Juventus are in need of funds for their own summer endeavours on the transfer front, it remains to be seen whether the powers that be in Turin would be open to parting with such a central figure just a year on from his arrival at the club.
