Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of highly-rated midfielder Joao Neves from Benfica.
Neves has signed a five-year with the French champions, who have paid a reported €70million (£60m) to land the Portugal international.
The 19-year-old attracted plenty of interest from clubs around Europe after a hugely impressive 2023-24 campaign.
Making 55 appearances for the Portuguese outfit, he scored three goals and provided two assists, while he also made two appearances for Portugal at Euro 2024.
Manchester United were a key rival to PSG for the teenager’s signature, with the Eagles reportedly rejecting two bids from the Red Devils.
The deal sees Renato Sanches head the other way back to Benfica on a season-long loan.
