The player in question is Edouardo Camavinga.
Back in January, the Evening Standard reported that Arsenal were interested in a surprise loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga.
The ES went on to state that it was unclear if Real Madrid would sanction a loan move, but the 20-year-old has struggled for minutes this season.
A report last month from Spanish outlet Defensa Central, meanwhile, claimed Eduardo Camavinga is the subject of interest from Manchester United and that the Red Devils are ready to offer €130 million to sign the Real Madrid midfielder.
But Los Blancos will not entertain any offers for the French midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Now, Jonathan Barnett, the agent of Real Madrid star Edouardo Camavinga, has stated that the rumours linking his client with a move to Arsenal in January were ‘garbage’.
“He never thought of playing for another team and Real would not let him leave. He’s Real Madrid’s future.”
Camavinga is currently under contract with Real Madrid until 2027 and is expected to see more action in the coming seasons once Luka Modric and Toni Kroos move on.
