Premier League giants Manchester United have, on Saturday, sealed a long-awaited deal for the club’s chief attacking transfer target.
The player in question? Rasmus Hojlund.
The name of frontman Hojlund has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines on the red half of Manchester for several weeks now.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the Danish sensation had been identified as the first-choice striker target on the part of the powers that be at Old Trafford.
Negotiations, in turn, had long been kicked into gear between the respective boards at United and Serie A outfit Atalanta.
To this point, the endeavours of the former had come up short, with the Atalanta brass continuing to hold out for a mammoth fee for the club’s crown jewel.
As confirmed by a host of sources across the European media, Hojlund is all set to take his talents to Manchester, with a medical pencilled in for some point over the coming 48 hours.

So, just how much will the 20-year-old set his soon-to-be employers back?
In a deal perfectly encapsulating the wild nature of the transfer market at present, it is understood that Manchester United will fork out an initial €75 million, followed by a further 10 million in potential bonuses, to bring Hojlund to England.
The Dane, meanwhile, is primed to put pen to paper on a five-year contract, with the option for a further 12 months.
