A fresh insight into the ongoing efforts of the powers that be at Premier League giants Manchester United to reinforce the club’s midfield setup has been provided on Thursday.
The info comes courtesy of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has first confirmed that United remain locked in talks with their counterparts at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad.
This comes with the latter hopeful of sealing a deal for Red Devils outcast Donny van de Beek.
Though an agreement, as of yet, has not been struck, talks between the two clubs are set to continue over the coming days.
Fred, meanwhile, also long tipped for an Old Trafford exit, will too be on the move this summer.
Romano has confirmed that, amid heavy interest by way of Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray, ‘Fred will 100% leave United’.
With Mason Mount already in the bag, United will soon turn their attentions towards an assault for Fiorentina standout Sofyan Amrabat.
