Harry Kane’s future has been one of the hot topics of this summer’s transfer window.
The striker has just a year remaining on his contract and his future needs a quick and clear resolution this summer.
Bayern Munich are one of the club desperately trying to sign him now but Spurs are keen to keep hold of him.
But given his contract situation and the interest from Bayern, all the talk around Tottenham is regarding the 29-year-old’s future.
Ange Postecoglou hopes that will soon change as he looks to focus on building the best possible team for Spurs.
Postecoglou: “Fair to say, I am not relaxed about it…”

Postecoglou says he is not relaxed about the Harry Kane saga.
“It’s not something you go, ‘Ah, well, you know if it does or doesn’t happen’.
It’s a very important part of this football club, not just the team, but the football club. He is such a massive figure.”
Postecoglou revealed some slight frustrations about constantly being questioned about it and wanting to just focus on other things.
He added: “While my focus isn’t on it on a daily basis, because I’ve got other things I need to do, I know that every time I am talking to you guys [the media], or whenever Harry is going to talk, that’s the first question you are going to get.”
The 58-year-old rounded off by admitting a swift resolution to the saga would be best for everyone.
However, he understands the importance of Kane to the club and therefore putting a deadline on it would not be helpful.
Postecoglou said: “I think for everyone concerned we don’t want to be doing it for too long. I don’t think that is good for anyone.
“I don’t think it is good for Harry, I don’t think it is good for the club, because as laser-focused as we want to be, you end up sort of repeating yourself along the way.
“But the flip side of that is I don’t want to put a deadline on it, because that adds even more pressure.
“You want these things to happen for the right reasons.”
