Declan Rice has been linked with Arsenal for some time now. The England international has seemingly outgrown West Ham and a summer move looks to be on the cards.
Fees between £100m-120m have been floated for Rice and whilst that is a lot of money, Rice would be a superb addition to the spine of Arsenal’s side and could easily spend the 10 years at his next club if he wished to do so.
Heading into the summer, the Gunners did look to be the only side really keen on getting a deal for Rice done, with Chelsea’s interest somewhat faded of late.
Now though, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Thomas Tuchel wants to bring the England international to Germany and the Bayern Munich board is 100 per cent behind his decision and will try to bring the West Ham star to the Allianz Arena.
It is added that talks have been held between Rice and the German champions, with Tuchel said to be very involved in the transfer.
This would be a big blow for Arsenal as the appeal of Champions League football and trophies every season may sway Rice into joining Bayern over the Londoners.
Their current most expensive signing is Lucas Hernandez for a reported £72m.
