Arsenal could sign Real Madrid’s Ferland Mendy this summer for just £17.5m as the La Liga giants look to make changes to their squad.
Spanish outlet Todofichajes report that Real Madrid have already given the green light for the move to happen and the transfer could be completed for just £17.5m.
Mendy has fallen out of favour in Madrid having struggled this season with injuries and in his absence, Eduardo Camavinga has stepped up at left-back.
Regardless of his struggles this season, though, Mendy is still a top left-back and would improve Arsenal’s squad.
Kieran Tierney’s future at the Emirates has been called into question following the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko and the Scotsman will need to be replaced if he is sold in the summer.
Tierney has played a decent number of games this seaosn but is only really used if Zinchenko is injured, as he is currently. And in a number of those games, Arsenal have looked much worse and failed to pick up a win, suggesting Tierney should be replaced.
