After coming to close to the Premier League title in 2022/23, Arsenal are no doubt keen to improve their squad and take Manchester City all the way next season.
To do so, it is likely Arsenal will need a more prolific goalscorer.
A lot of Arsenal’s goals this season have come from their attacking midfielders, with Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli currently on 15 each in the Premier League.
Up front, though, it is a different story. Gabriel Jesus was out for a while due to an injury picked up at the World Cup, but even before and since that injury, it was clear Jesus is not a striker capable of scoring 20 league goals a season.
As a result, it is not to surprising to see a report from InterLive claiming that Arsenal, along with Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea, are interested in Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez:
“Not only Chelsea and Manchester United , already old interested in his profile, at his door, but also Tottenham and Arsenal. And it will probably be the latter who bore the other English contenders on the market when the summer session opens next June,” their report states.
