Arsenal have learnt how much they would have to pay for Yeremy Pino.
101 previous covered a report which claimed both Arsenal and Liverpool had lodged €40m bids for the Villarreal winger.
Now, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the Spanish outfit want more than €50m to part with Pino:
“Many clubs have been following Yeremi Pino for months, he is a top player of the future that at least three Premier League clubs have been monitoring for some time,” Romano said.
“No proposals have been made yet to Villarreal, who would like more than €50m for their young star; it will not be an easy negotiation.
“As for the rumours about Arsenal – Edu was not travelling to Spain to meet Villarreal, also because Pino’s agents are based in the UK (Stellar Group).”
Who is Yeremy Pino?
He has since gone on to notch 77 outings in all competitions for the Spanish outfit despite being only 19 years of age.
In those outings he has scored 14 and assisted five for Unai Emery’s side.
Pino’s displays for Villarreal have also earned him call-ups to the Spanish national side already. He made his debut on October 6, 2021 and has since notched a further three appearances, scoring one goal.
Pino is a right-winger by trade, but he is also capable of playing on the left or through the middle.
This would make him a great signing for Arsenal. The Gunners are keen to move Nicolas Pepe on and would therefore need to sign another player to provide cover for Bukayo Saka.
