Arsenal are interested in signing a Dinamo Zagreb star this summer, as per the Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.
The player in question is Josip Sutalo, who has been on Dinamo Zagreb’s books since 2014.
The now 23-year-old is a centre-back and has played 84 times for the Croatian outfit’s senior side, scoring six and assisting four in said games.
According to the report by Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal are interested in Sutalo and Dinamo Zagreb want a fee of around £21m to let their star man leave.
The report adds that the Gunners have the financial resources to broker a deal for the Croatian, but may face competition from Serie A outfit Fiorentina, who are also interested in the stopper.
Should Sutalo join Arsenal over the summer, it would suggest that Jurrien Timber will primarily be used as a right-back instead of a centre-back, which may spell less game time for Ben White.
