Thomas Partey’s future at Arsenal has been called into question this summer.
The Daily Mail reported in May that Thomas Partey could be one of the players Arsenal look to sell to recoup some of the money spent on Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrin Timber.
And now, Manchester United have been linked with a surprise move for the Arsenal midfielder with Spanish outlet Fichajes claiming that Partey could be an option for the Red Devils.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the report for Partey, but a previous figure of around £45m has been touted. This is a steep sum for someone of his age, but he could improve United’s midfield a great deal.
Arsenal signed Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid for £45m in the summer of 2020.
He has since been a solid defensive midfield option for the Gunners – something they had been lacking for several years.
