Italian outlet La Repubblica claim that Arsenal are preparing a ‘monstrous offer’ for Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Denmark international moved to the Serie A club in the summer transfer window from Sturm Graz for around €17m.
It is claimed Atalanta ‘won’t give anyone any discounts’ and won’t allow their forward to leave for ‘for less than €50million’.
Real Madrid are also said to be monitoring Hojlund and scouted him at a recent match, whilst Serie A outfit Napoli are also keeping an eye on him – perhaps as a replacement for Victor Osimhen if he is snapped up in the summer.
Hojlund, 20, has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 21 outings across all competitions for Atalanta so far.
Arsenal, meanwhile, currently have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah on their books as natural centre-forwards.
