A fresh insight into the plans of Premier League outfit Arsenal to further reinforce the club’s first-team ranks ahead of this week’s transfer deadline has been provided on Monday.
It has, of course, proven a largely productive summer to date when it comes to incomings on the red half of north London.
To this point, Mikel Arteta’s squad has been reinforced by the arrivals of all of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner, and youngster Marquinhos.
In addition, highly-regarded defender William Saliba has returned to base at the Emirates.

Such additions, in turn, have given rise to a superb opening to the campaign on Arsenal’s part, with the capital giants currently sitting pretty atop the Premier League table with 12 points from 12.
And yet, despite their side’s fine form, many of a Gunners persuasion are of the opinion that Mikel Arteta’s ranks remain in need of yet more fresh blood.
On the right in particular, Bukayo Saka is now the sole recognised senior option, with Gabriel Martinelli’s deputy on the left coming in the form of Emile Smith Rowe, a midfielder by trade.
In turn, it has long been suggested that Arsenal could go on to add to their options out wide before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday.
And now, as alluded to above, a fresh insight into the ongoing search being carried out by Edu Gaspar and co. has been provided.
The info comes courtesy of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian has confirmed that the north Londoners are expressing a keen interest in the services of Shakhtar Donetsk talent Mykhailo Mudryk.
For those not aware, Mudryk is an explosive 21-year-old winger, whose ability on the ball has seen him dubbed by some as the ‘Ukrainian Neymar’.
Contact, in turn, is understood to have been made on Arsenal’s part, in a bid to gain an understanding of the kind of outlay likely to be required to land Mudryk over the course of the coming 72 hours.
