The player being looked at by the Gunners is Bayer Leverkusen defender, Edmond Tapsoba.
Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Arsenal have scouted Tapsoba multiple times, and he is a player appreciated by the north London club.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “For Tapsoba, it’s about scouting. It’s a player they know very well, and they had him on their list already one and two years ago, so he’s always been a player monitored by Arsenal. They sent their scouts multiple times to follow the player in the Europa League, so he’s a player they appreciate.”
Tapsoba joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 and is under contract with the German outfit until 2026.
He has made 137 appearances for his current side, including 47 in the 2022/23 campaign.
No potential fee is mentioned in the report, but the player himself has spoken out on transfer speculation recently.
