The player in question is Fenerbache youngster, Arda Guler.
Guler is a product of Fenerbache’s youth system and has already notched 49 appearances for their senior side, with his showings earning him the title of the ‘Turkish Lionel Messi’.
33 of those outings came in the 2022/23 campaign, where he scored six goals and provided six assists.
Guler is an attacking midfielder by trade, so if he signed for Arsenal, he could have provided some cover for Martin Odegaard.
Now though, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Real Madrid are working on the formal paperwork and documents to get the Arda Guler deal done on July 5.
He adds that the proposal is worth €20m plus add-ons and includes a 20 per cent sell on clause, taxes, commission and that Los Blancos are confident of getting a deal done in the next 24/48 hours.
