The player in question is Xavi Simons of Dutch outfit, PSV.
The youngster joined the Eredivisie side from PSG on a free transfer last summer.
Simons, who can operate as a no.10 and on both flanks, has scored 19 and assisted 12 in 46 games so far this season.
Such a goal return would be a major boost for Arsenal, who need cover for Bukayo Saka, which Simons can provide.
And now, as per the Mirror, Arsenal will be offered the chance to sign Xavi Simons this summer and the youngster is weighing up a move.
It is added that PSG inserted a clause in the player’s contract allowing them to buy him back for around £10m, but the French powerhouse have so far not made an approach.
Simons is currently valued at €30m on transfermarket.com.
