First up, according to Fabrizio Romano in his Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside, no clubs, including Arsenal, are favourites to sign Portuguese superstar Joao Felix.
Felix has cut a frustrating figure at Atlético Madrid and wants to leave the club, having been on the periphery under Diego Simeone:
“Despite some reports about Arsenal moving into a strong position, my understanding is that there are no favourites at this stage for Joao Felix,” Romando wrote. “His agent is speaking to many clubs, it’s the moment of meetings and discussions but nothing is advanced yet with Atletico or with the player.
“I think Joao Felix would be a fantastic signing for Arsenal as for any other club in the world, but he has to play. Regular starter in every single game, otherwise it makes no sense.”
Next, Goal Brazil report that Arsenal will have to pay €50m for the signature of their Brazilian transfer target, Estevao.
The Gunners were eyeing 15-year-old Estevao from Palmeiras after monitoring Danilo and Endrick. But the talent producing factory have put a hefty price tag on Estevao in an attempt to keep the followers away.
The defender is on the way out of Spain and Arsenal are interested to get him onboard.
No potential transfer fee is cited in the report.
