But who is Endrick? Well, at 16 years of age the footballing world is yet to see too much of the youngster.
However, the teenager, who only turned 16 last week, is currently plying his trade in Brazil for Palmeiras’ under-20 side.
He has so far featured on seven occasions for them, scoring six goals in the process.
Endrick is a natural striker, but he can also operate on either flank if required.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has reported that a number of top clubs are interested in the forward.
On top of all the big English sides, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG are interested in the South American.
“All the top European clubs are monitoring Endrick. Really everyone, from the top English clubs to PSG but also Real Madrid and Barcelona, who have very strong scouting in South America,” Romano explained.
“If you think about the top ten clubs in Europe, everyone has explored Endrick’s situation because he is considered a top player of the future.
“The price is €60m – the new release clause in his contract; but to decide the next club it will take many months. It is a long process and the player’s agents as well as his father Douglas want to choose the right project.”
