Lionel Messi has spent just over a year and a half on the books of PSG.
During that time the Argentine has scored 27 goals and provided 29 assists in 60 outings.
Messi has also won Ligue 1 once and is on course to do so again this season.
The 35-year-old’s future after 2022/23 remains up in their air, however. There has been links to Inter Miami in the US, there has also been talk of a potential return to FC Barcelona.
And now, Fabrizio Romano has provided a future update on the 2022 World Cup winner.
As per Fabrizio Romano: “Despite what’s been written about Lionel Messi’s future, I’m not sure the situation has changed. Messi is currently only negotiating with PSG, they had an opening meeting (in person) with his father Jorge and he also confirmed he has no bids from Barcelona at the moment.
