The Evening Standard claim that AS Roma have cooled their interest in selling Nicolò Zaniolo.
Given his contract situation and injury record, the Italian club were open to listening to offers.
However, the 23-year-old has played a starring role under Jose Mourinho during pre-season and looks to be a key part of his plans.
But Mourinho looks to have blocked any potential move and the player is now expected to remain in the Italian capital.
