The 26-year-old former Bari academy graduate spent four seasons in Firenze at Stadio Artemio Franchi as a key cog in the engine room for I Viola, and could be set for a similar role under new Cherries boss Andoni Iraola.
Per Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth will splash £10m plus a further ~ £1.5m in add-ons on the midfielder, with his medical set for Friday before finalizing his move to Vitality Stadium.
Castrovilli would represent further investment on the south coast since the arrival of new boss Andoni Iraola from La Liga outfit Rayo Vallecano, following the arrival of Hamed Traoré, Hungarian starlet Milos Kerkez, Romain Faivre, Justin Kluivert, and a loan move for Romanian international keeper Ionuț Radu.
Capable in both the 10 role as well as a mobile 8 in central midfield, Castrovilli featured 125 times for Fiorentina across all competitions and was a vital piece of a side that reached the final of the Europa Conference League last season, while also helping the club reach a Coppa Italia final in the same campaign.
