The 19-year-old Yarmoliuk has spent just one season in the English capital after arriving from SC Dnipro-1 last summer, but fully breaking into the first-team in the run-up to the upcoming 2023-24 campaign has earned him a new deal at the Btech Stadium.
Highly established at youth international level for Ukraine, including 6 goals in 8 caps for the U19′s, Yarmoliuk has already been around the senior setup under Thomas Frank last season, making his debut for the club during their EFL Cup loss to Gillingham in November, while also being included in the club’s mid-winter training camp in Spain during the World Cup break.
Big things are expected from the young midfielder, with the Verkhnodniprovsk native scoring three goals in 16 appearances for Brentford B before injury kept him out for a fair chunk of the second half of last season.
While it remains unclear just how much of a role he has to play in the senior setup early in the 2023-24 campaign, a fresh five year contract suggests that Frank is prepared to give the youngster increased opportunities moving forward.
