Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion have, on Tuesday, unveiled a fresh addition to the club’s first-team squad.
The latest player to have opted to take his talents to England’s south coast? Pervis Estupinan.
The last week, of course, has seen those in a position of power at the Amex Stadium forced to seek out reinforcements on the left of the club’s backline.
This comes after star performer Marc Cucurella linked up with Premier League rivals Chelsea, just a year on from his arrival from Getafe.
The aforementioned Estupinan, in turn, was swiftly identified as a potential replacement, with Graham Potter and co. evidently hopeful of another La Liga-based full-back enjoying a seamless transition back into English football, on the back of his prior experience with Watford.
Estupinan is fresh off a solid if unspectacular campaign last time out, which saw him rack up 28 league appearances for Unai Emery’s Villarreal.
In turn, the Seagulls, on Tuesday, have announced the signing of the 24-year-old, in a series of posts across the club’s social media platforms:
We’re delighted to announce the signing of defender Pervis Estupinan from La Liga side Villarreal! ✍️
