According to football.london, there is an expectation that Conor Gallagher will depart Chelsea this summer, with the midfielder subject to interest from the likes of Newcastle United, West Ham and Liverpool amid what is expected to be a high turnover summer at Stamford Bridge.
Gallagher came close to leaving Chelsea in January with Everton offering up £40m for his services, but turned down a move as he was not keen on joining the Toffees.
Since then, though, despite playing a number of games in the second half of the campaign, Gallagher’s form has not been great.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are looking to overhaul their midfield, with Matte Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all expected to depart as Chelsea target Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
Gallagher, meanwhile, has interest from Liverpool, but Newcastle are also in the race. Reports suggest that Chelsea value Gallagher at £50m but Newcastle consider him worth less than half of that figure.
The 23-year-old is yet to speak with Mauricio Pochettino ahead of his arrival as Chelsea boss over any potential role in the team moving forward.
