Premier League giants Chelsea are readying a cash-plus-player offer for Inter Milan star Andre Onana, according to reports.
It has of course long been rumoured that fresh blood could be on the agenda between the posts at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Owing to an alarming dip in form on the part of Edouard Mendy, and the ongoing inability of Kepa Arrizabalaga to prove himself worthy of the title of Chelsea’s undisputed long-term no.1, Todd Boehly and co. have been left with little choice but to scour the market for alternative options.

And, as alluded to above, on Friday, a fresh insight into such endeavours has been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who have doubled down on prior suggestions that Chelsea have identified Inter Milan standout Andre Onana as their first-choice goalkeeping target.
It has today been added, though, that the Blues are ready to offer up one of their own under-performing shot-stoppers as part of an exchange deal for the Cameroonian.
Kepa, it is understood, will soon be at the heart of a cash-plus-player proposal for Onana, from west London.
Significantly, though, the board at San Siro are not expected to so much as entertain such a bid, having long made clear that they will only part with their star no.1 for a big-money offer.
Empoli standout Guglielmo Vicario, meanwhile, has been identified as Onana’s likeliest successor, meaning Inter would have little need for Kepa.
