A highly-regarded up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks at Chelsea is all set to link up with Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest, it has been revealed.
The player in question? Andrey Santos.
For those not familiar with his name, Santos is a 19-year-old Brazilian international, who was snapped up by Chelsea this past January, in an £18 million deal.
After initially being denied a work permit, he was subsequently loaned back to his home country with Vasco da Gama, before finally making the move to west London earlier this summer.
Santos was, in turn, closely watched by new boss Mauricio Pochettino, in a bid to gauge his readiness for a first-team berth at Stamford Bridge.
The ensuing arrivals of both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, however, meant that another loan move away from Chelsea was always the most likely option.
As confirmed by a host of sources across social media, the powers that be at Chelsea have agreed to send Santos to Nottingham Forest, on loan for the season ahead.
The deal is not expected to feature an option to buy, with the midfield starlet widely considered to be a star in the making back at Stamford Bridge.
