As per Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan and Chelsea will meet to discuss the future of Romelu Lukaku in the next days as the striker’s priority remains to play at Inter next season.
Chelsea bought Lukaku from the Italian outfit after an impressive 2020/21 season but he had a poor return stint with Chelsea. The Blues then loaned him back to Inter for the 2022/23 season.
Lukaku’s second stint in Italy did not go to plan, though. He scored just 10 league goals and capped of his loan spell by missing some big chances in the Champions League final this past Saturday. Despite this, the player is seemingly keen to remain in Italy.
Elsewhere, Romano adds that Kalidou Koulibaly will be discussed in the meeting between the two clubs as Inter really want him.
Koulibaly, 31, fell out of favour under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard, finishing the season with just 20 Premier League starts.
The last thing Chelsea will discuss with the Serie A outfit is their goalkeeper, with Romano claiming the west Londoners will ask for a final price tag for Andre Onana before deciding whether to bid or not.
