Chelsea star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has, on Sunday, revealed that he is hopeful of sealing a move back to Spain with Barcelona this summer.
Frontman Aubameyang, of course, has endured something of a nightmare campaign to date.
After tumbling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge under the watch of Graham Potter, the former Arsenal standout has been afforded starts in a paltry total of five of Chelsea’s 34 Premier League outings to date.
Such woes even led to widespread reports that Aubameyang was set to depart west London mid-season, less than six months on from linking up with the Blues.
In the end, he ultimately stayed put, but a summer divorce between the parties now looks a near inevitability.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest comments on the part of ‘Auba’ himself are anything to go by, then it would appear that the Gabonese has a clear idea in mind when it comes to potential destinations.
After being drawn on his future by a member of the Barca fanbase earlier today, Aubameyang first did his best to avoid the question.
Pressed further on the subject, though, the attacker eventually admitted that reuniting with the Blaugrana ahead of next season would be his preference.
