The drama at Camp Nou this summer continues as the Catalan club goes in search of new recruits.

Now, in the latest twist, it has been claimed that Barça and Manchester City have agreed a fee for Bernardo Silva.

Xavi has been targeting the Portuguese midfielder for some time and Barcelona look to have taken a step closer to getting him.

Barça and Man City agree Bernardo fee

Gerard Romero claims that a fee has been agreed upon between the two clubs.

That fee is understood to be between €50 million and €60 million.

Bernardo’s family have already made plans for a trip to Barcelona to look for a house.

The club’s president Joan Laporta wants both Bernardo and Frenkie de Jong in the squad next season.

However, of course, that is unlikely to be possible and Chelsea are the club pushing hard to sign the Dutch midfielder.

The Blues are prepared to pay whatever it will take in order to capture the former Ajax player.

Should Barça move Frenkie on, a deal for Bernardo would then seem very likely to happen.

Pep Guardiola started him on the bench against West Ham United on Sunday.
