Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers have, on Monday, closed an agreement for the latest addition to the club’s first-team ranks.
The player primed to take his talents to Molineux with a view to the 2022/23 campaign? Sasa Kalajdzic.
For those not aware, Kalajdzic is a highly-regarded 25-year-old striker, who currently plies his trade in the Bundesliga with VfB Stuttgart.
Prior to an injury-riddled campaign last time out, Kalajdzic was fresh off an impressive term which saw him rack up 16 goals and five assists in the German top-flight.
Such exploits, in turn, saw the 15-time capped Austrian international hotly tipped for a move to another of the Premier League’s clubs, in the form of Manchester United, earlier this summer.
But, as alluded to above, on Monday, it is Wolves who have stepped up to the plate to beat out the competition for Kalajdzic’s signature.

This comes after the former agreed to fork over a guaranteed sum in the region of €18 million, followed by a potential €2 million in bonuses.
Kalajdzic, for his part, has committed to the terms of a contract with Wolves through the summer of 2027.
The hitman, as a result, is expected to touch down in the United Kingdom at some point on Monday night, ahead of undergoing his medical in the English midlands tomorrow morning.
