The man in question is Jadon Sancho, who has had a dismal stint in England since signing for Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
Sancho has scored just 12 goals and provided six assists in 79 outings across all competitions for Manchester United.
In comparison, the winger netted 16 and assisted 20 in 38 games during his final season in Germany with BVB.
The 23-year-old still has plenty of time to regain form, but it remains to be seen if Manchester United is the club he will do it at. Both Tottenham and Aston Villa have been linked with the winger and now, Fabrizio Romano has spoken out on a potential Sancho transfer:
“Another player attracting speculation, but the truth is the situation is very quiet around Sancho at the moment,” Romano said.
“I’m sure there’s a chance for him to stay at Manchester United, of course it will depend on the proposals but he’s not out of the project.
