Newly promoted side Fulham have been urged to make more signings, by their own boss Marco Silva, as they close in on their fourth summer signing.
Fulham have already added Andreas Pereira, Joao Palhinha and Manor Solomon to their side this summer, and are closing in on a deal for Wolfsberg defender Kevin Mbabu in a deal worth a potential 6m euros.

Despite this, however, Silva remains frustrated with slow progress thus far, with fellow newly-promoted side Nottingham Forest set to make their 12th signing of the summer with over a month to go until the window closes.
“The balance is positive, unfortunately for us, we are far from having the squad closed”, he told Portuguese media.
“We need to act faster, the market has been difficult for us, but we have to act faster, even so the pre-season has been very positive, the players have been giving their all, which is always important, and it’s good to integrate the new players. It’s part of a process, we started later than some of our opponents, but it was a positive pre-season.
“We have to have more reinforcements for when the Premier League starts, there is no other way, we still have a few players to sign and they are not that few. We know the market only closes on August 31st, but the Premier League starts on August 6th for us. We have to have more players to be at the level that the Premier League requires”, Silva added.
Silva to get his wish

His arrival would be the sixth signing of the summer, and would certainly be an improvement on the current options available to Silva. Clearly, however, he wants more to try and stay up.
