Inter president Steven Zhang spoke out on Romelu Lukaku’s future at the club after his disappointing outing in the Champions League final.
Lukaku, 30, was sold to Inter Milan in 2019 from Manchester United.
The Belgian had an impressive first stint with the Serie A side, scoring 23 and assisting two in 36 league ties in 2019/20. He then netted 24 and assisted 10 in 36 league matches during 2020/21 when Inter were crowned Serie A champions.
Chelsea bought Lukaku from the Italian outfit after that impressive season but he had a poor return stint with Chelsea. The Blues then loaned him back to Inter for the last campaign.
Lukaku’s second stint in Italy did not go to plan, though. He scored just 10 league goals and capped of his loan spell by missing some big chances in the Champions League final on Saturday.
Following that game, Inter’s president has spoken out on Lukaku’s future.
