The Italian has been a mainstay in Chelsea’s midfield for several years now, playing a key role in their European success under Thomas Tuchel.
However, with the Blues looking to rebuild and Jorginho out of contract in the summer, it looks as though the former Napoli man is swapping west London for north London.
A £10m initial fee will be paid by Arsenal, with an extra £2m in add-ons if the Gunners win the Premier League and finish in the top-four.
And now, the shirt number Jorginho will wear for his new side has been revealed.
Kieran Cook first reported that the Italian will take on the no.20 when he joins the club. Cook had also correctly revealed that Jakub Kiwior would be wearing the no.15 when he joined the club earlier in the transfer window.
Jorginho wore the no.5 during his three-year tenure at Chelsea where he won the Champions League in 2021.
And now, an image of Jorginho and his agent has been shared with the midfielder wearing no.20 on his trousers:
