The player in question is Real Madrid and France star, Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Frenchman only arrived at the Bernabeu last summer but there is speculation over his future in Spain following the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
Reports in Spain have suggested that Liverpool are keen on bringing Tchouameni to Anfield this summer, with the Reds making a €55m bid for the 23-year-old.
It was also suggested that Liverpool could offer around €80m (£71m) for the former AS Monaco ace.
Now, however, the player has all but confirmed he will not be making a move to Liverpool after fans spotted him liking a tweet which translated to: “Tchouameni is not for sale. Do you understand, Liverpool?”
Whilst Tchouameni would be an excellent replacement for Fabinho, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia along with Jordan Henderson, Liverpool are also being linked with Romeo Lavia of Southampton, who would be a great addition to Jurgen Klopp’s ranks.
