A fresh insight into the future of Leeds United star Dan James has been provided on Wednesday evening.
Those of a Whites persuasion, of course, will be well aware of the late-window speculation surrounding the name of wide-man James.
This comes after word was forthcoming in the media, altogether out of the blue, that the Welshman could be on the move before the summer is out.
A number of rival Premier League clubs are understood to have enquired as to James’ availability, with Everton – amid ongoing question marks when it comes to the future of Chelsea target Anthony Gordon – particularly keen.

Where, though, do the powers that be at Elland Road stand when it comes to their explosive winger’s potential sale?
Well, as alluded to above, an insight into precisely that has been forthcoming late on Wednesday.
This comes despite the former Manchester United man himself being keen to stay put in west Yorkshire for the season ahead.
Should James, in the end, be moved on, though, then Leeds are expected to target PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo as his replacement.
Understanding with Dan James is that his preference has been to stay at Leeds but the club haven’t shut the door on him leaving in the way they did with Jack Harrison. One to watch as Leeds go after Gakpo. #lufc
