The defender has played a role in helping the Seagulls qualify for Europe for the first time in their history.
Colwill looked ready to play for Chelsea last summer but the Blues opted to loan him out instead.
he now has a big decision to make this summer over his future: does he stay, go out on loan again or push for a permanent move?

Colwill has revealed that he is keen to repay the faith that Brighton have shown him this season.
The 20-year-old is grateful for them showing him trust whilst Chelsea failed to do so.
Colwill said: “Brighton have done a lot for me.
“They put their trust in me when others didn’t and I’m a person that loves to repay that. We’ll see.
“I don’t know what is going to happen (at Chelsea). I’m still here until the end of the season.
“I just focus on that, then I’ve got the Euros (Under-21) in the summer.
“After that, we’ll see what happens and go from there.”
