Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.
A report from Relevo claims that Liverpool and Chelsea are keen on signing the world champion and they have intensified conversations in recent weeks.
The midfielder is reportedly willing to take the next step in his career and he would be willing to leave Brighton in the summer.
No fee is mentioned in the report but it has previously been suggested a fee of around £70m is what the Seagulls what for their latest talent.
Mac Alister has excelled in a Brighton side who are on course to clinch European football for the first time in their history this season.
The Argentine has featured 29 times in all competitions this term, scoring 10 and assisting two in the process.
In terms of which club he would be a better fit for, Liverpool really need a more creative midfielder who is capable of covering a lot of ground and Mac Alister fits that role.
As for Chelsea, with no permanent manager on the books yet, it remains to be seen how well he would fit in at Stamford Bridge.
