German journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Firmino has informed Jürgen Klopp that he will leave Liverpool in the summer.
The pair had a good chat on Friday and the decision has been made.
Firmino has been in and out of the team over the last two seasons with new forwards arriving at the club.
The 31-year-old has started in just 15 of the Reds’ 36 matches this season.
He will now seek a new challenge away from Merseyside after over 7 years of magnificent service.
Bobby is actually leaving man, it doesn’t feel real. Nobody else will do it just like him in Liverpool shirt.
