Liverpool are believed to be open to the idea of selling midfield star, Thiago, this summer.
According to the Telegraph, the Reds would allow the 32-year-old to leave over the coming weeks as they could bring in a fee for the midfielder and get his high wages off their books, rather than losing him for free next year when his current Liverpool deal runs out.
Saudi Arabian sides are thought to be interested in Thiago, and the former Bayern Munich man is already believed to have turned down an offer to move to the Middle East.
Liverpool have already brought in two midfielders this summer in the form of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, and plan on bringing in a third before the new season gets underway.
As a result, it makes sense for all parties if Thiago is sold this summer, leaving Liverpool with the two aforementioned players, a third signing, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Curtis Jones and Stefan Bajcetic as their midfield options heading into the 2023/24 campaign.
In terms of who that third midfielder will be, both Khephren Thuram and Ryan Gravenberch were linked, but reports earlier this week suggested Liverpool had ended their interest in these players.
