Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka at the end of the season.
A report from Football Insider claims that the two Premier League clubs are keen on signing the player after he rejected the offer of an extension from the German club.
Ndicka is out of contract in the summer, meaning both of the aforementioned sides can sign him to a pre-contract agreement already.
Manchester United will likely sell the out of favour Harry Maguire in the summer, whilst Victor Lindelof has proven he is not at the same level as Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane.
Martinez is also currently Man United’s only left-footed stopper, meaning signing Ndicka would provide cover for the Argentine.
As for Liverpool, their defence has been inconsistent to say the least in 2022/23, with Joe Gomez’s form falling off a cliff and Virgil van Dijk not the player he was a few years ago.
Ndicka is also French, so there would be some form of connection with Konate straight away and as already mentioned, the Frankfurt man would slot easily into the LCB role for either side.
