Premier League giants Manchester United are hopeful of boosting their transfer market budget courtesy of the sales of no fewer than six members of the club’s first-team squad.

The transfer team at Old Trafford, of course, have been hard at work across the summer to date.

This comes amid ongoing efforts to both add much-needed reinforcements to, and shift some of the long-standing deadwood from Erik ten Hag’s squad.

To this point, the Red Devils have managed to secure fresh blood both between the posts and in midfield, by way of big-money deals for Andre Onana and Mason Mount.

Out the door on the red half of Manchester, meanwhile, have been Anthony Elanga, Alex Telles, Zidane Iqbal, and David de Gea.

As alluded to above, though, the United brass, it would appear, are far from ready to rest on their laurels.

The Reds stars in question? Fred, Scott McTominay, Dean Henderson, Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, and Donny van de Beek.

From here, a significant percentage of the funds raised will in turn be put at the disposal of Erik ten Hag, to utilise on further additions with a view to the new season.
