Manchester United have been afforded a boost in their pursuit of Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund, according to reports.
The name of hitman Hojlund has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of Manchester for some time now.
This comes amid long-standing suggestions that the Danish prodigy has been identified as a leading target, amid the ongoing search for attacking reinforcements on the part of the powers that be at Old Trafford.
United are in desperate need of fresh blood up top, owing to both Anthony Martial’s ongoing struggles, and the imminent departure of loan addition Wout Weghorst.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday evening is anything go by, then the Red Devils’ chances of landing Hojlund may well be in line for an imminent boost.
As per a report from Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic, the 20-year-old has agreed to join SEG Agency.
It is also added that Reds director John Murtough has already held talks with Atalanta over a deal for Hojlund, with the Dane viewed as a more likely summer arrival than fellow target Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt.
