Premier League giants Manchester United sent scouts to attend OGC Nice’s Ligue 1 meeting with Lille on Friday evening.
This comes with the Red Devils considering moves for not one, but two members of Francesco Farioli’s squad.
First up comes stopper Jean-Clair Todibo.
Former Barcelona starlet Todibo, it is understood, has been identified as a leading target to reinforce Erik ten Hag’s defensive ranks with a view to next season.
The Old Trafford brass are prepping themselves for the imminent departure of ex-captain Harry Maguire, with Todibo one of several replacements being considered.
Shifting attentions to Friday’s action at the Allianz Riviera, the 23-year-old, for his part, enjoyed a fine outing at the heart of Nice’s backline, en route to an eventual 1-1 stalemate.

In addition, the Reds are understood to have been keeping a close eye on teammate Khephren Thuram.
Midfielder Thuram has been hotly tipped for a Premier League switch across the summer to date, amid heavy interest on the part of Liverpool.
As per Get French Football News, though, Jurgen Klopp’s side have now been joined in their pursuit of the 22-year-old by rivals United.
Ahead of the imminent departure of Fred, Ten Hag and co. remain on the lookout for fresh blood in the middle of the park, with Thuram, seemingly, one such option being taken into consideration.
