Several updates surrounding Manchester City’s summer transfer business have emerged on Friday, all from Fabrizio Romano.
First up comes an update on the Citizens’ pursuit of Chelsea and Croatia midfielder, Mateo Kovacic.
On the Mateo Kovacic transfer, Romano reports that Manchester City and Chelsea are in direct contact and talks are taking place, with an expectation the deal will go ahead. It is added that personal terms have been agreed between the player and City, with the Croatian wanting to make the move.
Next up, Fabrizio Romano reports that Paris Saint-Germain are already in talks with Bernardo Silva’s camp over the project and personal terms, with it added that the Portuguese is a priority target and a crucial part of PSG’s plans.
However, talks with Man City are not advanced yet, and the Sky Blues will ask for a huge fee, as they did with FC Barcelona last summer.
Finally, Manchester City are making progress in a deal for RB Leipzig centre-back Josko Gvardiol on the player’s side, with negotiations on personal terms said to be progressing well.
