First, Manchester City have been dealt a potentially huge transfer blow as Bukayo Saka will enter contract extension talks with Arsenal, according to Fabrizio Romano in his Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside:
“My understanding is they will discuss again with Bukayo Saka’s agents in the next weeks and months, same for William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli. The plan is clear: they want to extend the contracts, but these things take time,” Romano stated.
Next up, according to transfer insider Dean Jones on GiveMeSport, Pep Guardiola’s contract extension and blueprint for Manchester City’s future, could help the club bring England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham, to the Ethiad.
Reportedly, Bellingham is keen on working with Guardiola, and Manchester City’s dominant success in the last few years could also help them in their attempts to sign the young midfielder.
Elsewhere, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have secured the signature of U-15 Sheffield wonderkid Kylan Midwood.
The Sky Blues are looking to nurture the talent at their academy and show him the path to first-team football.
