The player in question is Aston Villa striker, Ollie Watkins.
According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Tottenham are eyeing up a move for the Aston Villa striker as they make plans for life after Harry Kane.
Harry Kane has entered the final 12 months of his contract and he is yet to sign an extension with the club.
As a result, Tottenham will be under pressure to sell him this summer if he does not extend his contract, as they will not want to lose a player of his ability on a free transfer next year.
Manchester United and Real Madrid are the two sides most interested in Kane’s services at present, with the latter set to lose Karim Benzema and United still without a proper goal scorer up front.
However, Spurs look set to face heavy competition when trying to land their Kane replacement, as the report from Fichajes adds that Manchester United and Arsenal are keeping tabs on the player as well.
