Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping tabs on the French international defender, Axel Disasi.
According to a report from 90 Min, the two Premier League clubs have sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old in action and they were impressed with his performances.
Disasi joined Monaco from Stade de Reims in 2020, and has since gone on to feature for the club 121 times, including in several European games.
The centre-back, who is currently under contract until 2025, was also handed the captain’s armband several times in 2021/22 and 2022/23, despite being 25 years of age.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the report.
Disasi has also recently spoken out about his admiration for the Premier League:
Manchester United could really do with some more quality at centre-back this summer, with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof not good enough to cover from the currently sidelined Lisandro Martinez or Raphael Varane.
Chelsea have recently signed some fresh legs at centre-back, but they will also need to replace Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta in the near future.
