According to The Athletic, West Ham have reached an agreement to sign Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.
The Red Devils received a £30m offer for their former captain on Monday and that fee has now been accepted.
Maguire, whose contract runs until 2025, hoped to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford, but England manager Gareth Southgate has indicated that a lack of playing time at United could impact his international career.
Maguire joined United from Leicester for £80 million in the summer of 2019. He began life at Old Trafford as a regular starter under then-manager, Ole Gunnar Solskajer.
However, Solskajer was sacked and Erik ten Hag was then brought in to replace the Norweigan on a permanent basis last summer.
And with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez also on United’s books, Maguire fell dramatically down the pecking order, even often being left on the bench or out of the squad in favour of Luke Shaw, who Ten Hag used at centre-back on a few occasions last term.
